SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and develop new business opportunities, establish relationship with potential clients and expand our overall scope of business in the Caribbean and Latin America Region through the application of market research and financial feasibility studies using project evaluation metrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research and identify potential business opportunities, clients and markets, while staying abreast of industry trends, technology to identify opportunities.
• Strategic partner development: build relationships with key stakeholders including mobility start-up and venture capital to explore collaboration.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy.
• Develop and maintain project schedules/plans from inception through implementation.
• Design a market research plan with key data to collect and method of collecting data.
• Communicate and coordinate activities with key persons in the subsidiary companies in Latin America and/or the Caribbean.
• Gather and analyze information related to relevant regulations in the specific markets. Gather and analyze market data as a base of financial projections
• Develop and analyze projected financial statements for the financial evaluation of new projects
• Prepare business plans and documents for the approval of the projects by the Board of Director
• Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or Project Mgmt.
Minimum 3 years of experience in new business development / projects, preferably in the automotive area.
Bilingual English/ Spanish language skills would be beneficial in this role, but are not required.

Up to 30% domestic/ international travel is expected.
